The project with the setup of my van was first and foremost about making it versatile (less than 2 meters tall with solar panels and a roof vent) without sacrificing comfort, with a bed length of 2 meters by 1.2 meters in width, 3 storage boxes, 3 hatches, and two 70cm drawers at the rear. The second focus was autonomy. To achieve this, a 2x100W solar system powers a mobile Aferiy 512Wh battery, which can be recharged via solar, 12V cigarette lighter, or 220V through a camping or home outlet. Thus, there’s no need to stay at a campsite. Enjoy your favorite spots in nature while benefiting from the 18L compressor fridge and the ability to charge your devices via USB with a controlled ecological footprint. A mobile Boxio sink and showerhead will allow you to do your dishes and wash yourself quickly, with two 5L containers for clean and dirty water that are very easy to refill.
When you pick up the van, the battery will be fully charged at 100%, and the water containers will be full as well. No need to return them full.
The camping stove, a Campingaz Bistro 3 burner, will allow you to cook your favorite recipes quickly and efficiently. It will already be equipped with a gas bottle providing 1.5 hours of autonomy, and a second bottle will be available for an additional 5€. The work surface of the drawer unit will offer an optimal place to cook outside between the two doors.
The bed frame is supported by the 3 boxes and a board that you simply place on the slats when it’s time to sleep.
The ceiling, floor, and walls are all insulated with Armaflex AF, and an insulating curtain is placed between the driver's cabin and the sleeping area.
