BASE VEHICLE

This conversion is exclusively compatible with the Renault Trafic III L2 (long wheelbase). 100% made in France, it is the most spacious in its category (with the widest pop-top roof) and is also renowned for its reliability and comfort.

SLEEPING AREAS

This layout features two distinct sleeping zones.

Pop-top roof: The largest in its category, it allows you to sit upright in bed and offers a generous roof bed (130 × 190 cm) with a FROLI cup-spring system for superior comfort. It opens at the rear, providing easy access via a telescopic ladder, as well as a more natural vehicle orientation facing the wind.

Convertible seats downstairs: The full versatility of this layout shines through this unique system. You can choose between two independent single beds or one large double bed. Switching from one configuration to the other is effortless, thanks to a longitudinal sliding system that brings the two beds together seamlessly to create a double bed.

LIVING SPACE

This van can comfortably accommodate up to four people while traveling. It also allows you to stand up and move around easily inside. A central aisle running from the dashboard to the rear tailgate enables full use of the vehicle’s interior space. This provides freedom of movement when the weather turns bad and allows everyone to keep their own rhythm in the evening at bedtime.

STORAGE

The Explorer features 13 cleverly designed storage compartments of various sizes, tailored to van life needs: large kitchen drawers, a rear storage area for chairs, three deep shelves for clothing, two drawers under the benches, a cabinet behind the toilet, five storage niches of different volumes, and storage nets.

TECHNOLOGY

High-end equipment designed to simplify everyday use—without unnecessary excess. Precise management of fresh and grey water levels, electrical autonomy, interior temperature, vehicle leveling, and even atmospheric pressure, all via an intuitive touchscreen control panel. The Webasto ThermoBox produces instant hot water at 60°C, while the auxiliary heater located under the roof bed ensures year-round use, even in cold conditions. Finally, lighting is controlled via touch dimmers, allowing precise adjustment of ambiance and light intensity inside the van at night.

WATER CAPACITY

80 L of fresh water and 60 L of grey water—enough for several days, even with four people.

FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN

A standing kitchen position with near at-home comfort: a textured matte black worktop with exceptional durability; a stainless-steel sink with a two-burner gas hob; two large storage drawers (soft-close, concealed runners); and an 86 L refrigerator (+ freezer) accessible from both inside and outside—perfect for four people.

PREMIUM MATERIALS

All of the Explorer’s furniture is made from bamboo. Bamboo is well known for its exceptional density and strength, but it is also an environmentally friendly material. In this van, bamboo is combined with a textured matte black table and worktop, anthracite grey automotive carpet, and white marine-grade lining for the side panels. This blend of materials creates an elegant and warm interior style.

ELECTRICAL AUTONOMY

The Explorer adapts to every need. As standard, it is equipped with a 150 Ah lithium battery charged via the alternator, providing an average of 3 days of off-grid autonomy under normal use. This autonomy can be increased à la carte with options such as an ultra-thin 180 W PERC solar panel, mains charger, 220 V inverter, and more.

CUSTOM OPTIONS

A custom-made tailgate awning to create a shower cabin or additional rear living space; an expandable Thule 4200 awning; a rear-accessible storage area for four camping chairs and the outdoor table leg; a dedicated space for leveling ramps; custom curtains; blackout panels; and magnetic mosquito screens.
