In this classic Transit model, VanCaptain was born from a long time dream and it was planned and built during the year of 2019.
It was initially for personal use and carefully thought to be comfortable and elegant.
Perfect for couple trips or for groups of 3.
Its wood interiors and two layers of insulation helps it stays fresh in summer and warm during winter. It has a standard size double bed (195cm x 140 cm) with a super comfortable made in Portugal mattress. Underneath it, it has plenty of room for the rentals luggage and also for the outdoor table and chairs provided.
The dinning area transforms into the second bed for the 3rd passenger by placing down the table.
The kitchen area is equipped with a fridge with a mini freezer compartment, campingaz stove and all the crockery needed.
The WC is equipped with a chemical portable toilet and it’s prepared for having an inside shower from 1 of the 2 portable showers provided (electrical or foot pump system).
The 100W solar panel recharges 2 independent 110Ah batteries, enough to supply energy for all the electrical components. The Van has 4 USB sockets and 2 cigarret sockets (12v).
The F65s Fiamma awning allows to make better use of the outdoor area on sunny days.
To make the stay even more comfortable, we provide bed linen, face and body towels, extra blankets for the coldest nights and few more things (bluetooth speaker, kitchen welcome kit, rechargable flashlight, etc..).
If needed, the following items may be provided for renting:

-Extra gas (for campingaz stove);

Las modalidades de reembolso varían en función de la fecha de anulación de la reserva.
Reserva confirmada
Con más de 30 días de antelación, recibirás el reembolso del 70% del importe del alquiler, excluyendo el coste del seguro del alquiler y los gastos de gestión.
30 días antes del inicio del alquiler
Con menos de 30 días de antelación, ningún reembolso es posible. El importe total del alquiler deberá ser abonado.
Salida
Anulación flexible por motivo Covid-19
Si no puedes viajar por motivo vinculado a Covid-19, puedes beneficiar de condiciones de anulación más flexibles.. De esta forma podrás posponer tu viaje sin ningún coste.
El importe correspondiente a la parte del propietario te será reembolsado en un plazo de diez días tras la anulación. El importe restante permanecerá como crédito de alquiler y podrá ser utilizado para una futura reserva para cualquier vehículo de la plataforma.

This camper and his owner Pedro are just amazing!
Everything is done with love to details and we did not miss a single thing. The van was super clean and the interior warm and welcoming. The bed is super comfy and what you would expect from a 4-5 star hotel! Pedro is really nice and helpful and communicating in the most professional way.
If you’re looking for a camper experience in Portugal, don’t miss!!!

Me and my girlfriend rented this van for almost two weeks and had the absolute best time. I don't believe there is a better place in Europe to travel through and honestly if you are searching for a van this one won't disappoint, far from it.
The van itself:
Drives good, although the size is something you need to get adjusted too; this is offcourse something that counts for most vans out there. The inside is so neat and well thought through, lovely small additions and feels very homely. The biggest plus was the bed: it is soooo comfortable and spacious. Besides that, the fridge works well, but we mainly used the additional Coolbox and kept it full of ice. Additional appliance like electric and manual shower, kitchen stove etc. Everything you need is there and in neat condition.
Besides the van I think the big plus was Pedro himself. He has been a great host and gave us a very warm welcome to Portugal. Before the trip and during he would help us with any questions we had (quick!) and would give us more advice and tips than we were able to process. We had some great experiences with hosts of airbnbs, but Pedro really stands out. Can't thank him enough for making a wonderful trip through Portugal possible.
My advice when you are looking for a van to travel through Portugal: look no further this is it.

O Pedro esteve sempre disponível antes e durante a viagem, para qualquer esclarecimento e apoio relacionado com a preparação da viagem e a vivência na carrinha.
Condução:
O veículo teve um ótimo desempenho, a condução é bastante estável (em parte devido ao rodado duplo que apresenta). As manobras também se mostraram mais fáceis do que o esperado graças à direção assistida e aos espelhos especiais que ajudam na visão inferior. (O Pedro também deu todas as dicas necessárias no briefing inicial). O rádio com bluetooth e o ar condicionado também foram uma mais valia.
VAN:
As fotografias falam por si, ainda assim destacamos a importância de ter mesa e casa banho com duche no interior, o que permitiu aproveitar os dias ao máximo, podendo tomar banho ou fazer as refeições no interior já de noite. Toda a carrinha tem bastante arrumação e a cama é incrível, foram 10 dias e podiam ter sido mais sem problema!
